Kennel (4 classes--includes pet day care center) Minimize

Any person owning, possessing or desiring to keep within the city limits an animal shelter, dog kennel, pet grooming shop, pet shop, or pet hospital must have a license. An animal shelter is a business that collects stray or abandoned animals for redemption, adoption, sale, or disposal. A pet grooming shop is any business where pets are groomed for profit. A kennel is any business involved in the boarding of pet animals. A pet shop is a retail or wholesale business which is involved in the selling or trading of pet animals. A pet hospital is any business that operates as a veterinary hospital or clinic involved in the diagnosis, treatment, or care of a pet animal. Kennel licenses also include animal "day cares." Kennels, shelters and pet hospitals require written consent of a majority of persons of full age residing within (800) feet in all directions from the location of the animal shelter, kennel or pet hospital.

When you come in to obtain a Kennel License and will be doing business as any one or several of  the subcatergories of Kennel License, then only one application fee needs to be paid at the time of the initial application.
If you decide at a later time to add a subcatergory to your pre-existing Kennel License, you will be charged another application fee.  This fee covers the cost for additional city inspections.
