Most City and County of Denver offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 16 in observance of Presidents Day. Solid waste collection will be on a regular schedule; customers should set carts out on their regular collection day.
As outlined in Title 2003 Final Settlement of the Construction Contract General Conditions (Yellow Book(PDF, 423KB)), under Colorado law (CRS §38-26-107), a Notice of Final Settlement is a public announcement issued before final payment on a public works project. It gives subcontractors, suppliers, and others who provided labor or materials a final opportunity to file unpaid claims. The notice is published, no fewer than ten days before payment, ensuring transparency and protecting all parties. Final payment is made only after all claims are resolved.
