Food Bank of the Rockies Mobile Food Pantry (Sun Valley/Mile High)

Everyone is welcome at our free mobile food pantry events. Free food is available for those who need it.

All 2024 events will take place at our Sun Valley location (Empower Field at Mile High - Lot E). Most events happen on the third Friday of the month (except for the June event). Dates are subject to change.

We no longer host food pantry events at the Denver Human Services East Office location. Search for food pantries in East Denver on the Food Bank of the Rockies Find Food website.

Event Hours and Other Details

Mobile food pantries run from 9-11 a.m. or until all food is distributed. Times, dates and services are subject to change in the event of inclement weather or holidays. Please do not arrive earlier than 8 a.m.

Customers are welcome to drive to the food pantry, walk up, ride a bike, or arrive in another way. A volunteer will assist you.

Here is some helpful information for those planning to attend:

  • Eligibility is self-declared for government food distribution programs; you do not need to provide any proof of eligibility (photo IDs are encouraged but not required).
  • Distribution is outdoors; please dress appropriately for the weather.
  • Please bring bags or boxes to transport your food.
  • Call 303-371-9250 for weather information.

Food Bank of the Rockies (FBR) recently moved to a paperless process to better serve attendees and to make the check-in simpler and more efficient. Attendees are invited to self-enroll and create an account with Link2Feed. If attendees already have a client ID from another FBR participating pantry, there is no need to re-register; attendees should bring their number on the day of the distribution. Sign up at

No access to technology? No problem! Staff will be available on site to assist with creating new accounts on the day of the event.
