You can accomplish most business at a kiosk, online, or a neighborhood drop-box.

Operating Hours 

Please note: We strive to serve as many people as possible. DMV in-person lines will close once they have reached capacity, please arrive early in the day.

DMV branches will temporarily close for one week, every four weeks, on a rotating basis. View a schedule of all weekly closures.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday:
7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Wednesday:
7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Call 3-1-1 or 720-865-4600 between 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday - Friday for DMV support.

The City and County of Denver Motor Vehicle Department cannot accept payments over the phone.
