Denver Solid Waste Management offers seasonal Leafdrop service at multiple locations. Weekend Service will end on 11/17 and Weekday service stops on 11/30.
Don’t throw out those broken, burned-out or impossibly tangled holiday lights you stored away with last year’s holiday decorations. Recycle them instead, for free, through Denver’s holiday lights recycling program!
Return the joy your tree brings you over the holiday season by giving it a new lease on life. Recycle your holiday tree by dropping it off at one of our collection sites! We’ll turn it into mulch made available to residents for free in the spring!
GrassCycling is the practice of leaving grass clippings on your lawn when mowing, instead of bagging them. It’s the natural way to recycle grass clippings and provide your lawn with the valuable nutrients and water that it needs.
Did you know? Holiday trees dropped off during the Treecycle program are mulched and distributed back to Denver residents for free each spring. Compost is created from food scraps and yard waste collected from Denver's Composts program and donated from WM.
We look forward to seeing you grab some compost May 2nd from 8:00 - 2:00
